HOW IS Calling Audibles different from OTHER consultANTS?

Management consulting firms are hired to solve problems, use their resources to bring solutions and recommendations.  They do the staff work and build the narrative that leadership doesn’t have time for because they are running a company.  It is common to hear from burned out consultants that they are tired of putting together great strategies to only have them not be executed.  There are many reasons for the lack of execution, but it seems one of the common themes is that the plans tend to be actions and goal driven.  Calling Audibles looks at it differently.  Our intention is to convert the vision and goals into behavioral metrics that drive a culture that aligns with the overall playbook of the organization.  Not really that different than a football team preparing for their season.  Calling Audibles does not exist to tell an organization what to do or how to do it.  Our purpose is to provide a framework and guidance to developing a behavioral playbook to simplify efforts, remove churn / noise, and help organizations focus on what means the most to them.

Who can benefit from Calling Audibles’ programs?

Anyone!  Absolutely anyone that wants to drive change.  The process that is being further refined every day can be applied to everything from losing weight to building a cohesive business strategy and cascading it throughout a large organization.  Each has different levels of complexity and may use some different frameworks within the overall process, but this can fit anywhere.  The core program has been developed for:

  • Venture capitalist / private equity firms looking to turn around struggling businesses.  Rather than finding new talent to change the trajectory, Calling Audibles will work with the current leadership to redefine the strategy and behaviors required to execute the strategy vastly reducing implementation time and removing pressure on the firm to find executive leaders quickly.

  • Small businesses looking for a MBA crash course on strategy to support growth initiatives, profit challenges, etc.

  • Divisions within corporate entities as they translate their metrics and objectives into day-to-day activities.

  • Individuals looking to drive change in a stress-free manner.  Examples:  increase in performance, weight loss, strength training, self-improvement, financial health, etc.

What Calling Audibles IS NOT

Calling Audibles is not an expert in all things.  We are experts in strategy development and execution.  We are not Subject Matter Experts in specific products and services.  Our engagement partners / customers are those experts.  We bring a framework of strategy development and execution.  We are not legal consultants, tax consultants, mergers and acquisition experts, or anything of the sort.  We bring a proven process framework to use your expertise to develop strategy and execution plans that work for you.

 

WHAT DOES THE PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

Whether in a cohort or one-on-one engagements, the Calling Audibles team will walk you through a process including but not limited to three primary phases.

  • Phase 1:  Define vision, develop baseline

  • Phase 2:  Develop action plan and behavior-based metrics

  • Phase 3:  Assemble completed playbook with its core strategy, control plan, and a process to define and call audibles for when surprises pop up.

Your objectives will determine the extensiveness of each step and what support processes and tools are required to build a complete strategy playbook (e.g. economic modeling, scenario planning, complexity of value analysis, etc.), but the core process is consistent across the spectrum.
